Details

We help high achieving African American students from within the Peoria Public School District #150, Quest Charter Academy, and Bloomington/Normal Schools who have already been accepted into a 4-year College or University with financial support.

We were founded in 1987 by a small group of civic leaders. Since then we have been able to support over 2,000 with scholarships of $1,000+ to start  their educational journey.

We work with local schools to find the best students to support.  The selected students must already be accepted to a College or University. We then present the scholarship funds directly to their school to help pay for their tuition.

Your donation can help more students go further in their education without having to worry about their finances.

Thank you so much to our sponsors. Your support has helped children within our community take the steps need to start their higher education journey! Sponsors listed below include those who have made a donation of at least $1,000 in the past year.
